It’s brutal, but probably true. With that pesky #1 driver out of the way, that clears the road for a solid P15.
Joke is on McLaren, not Jenson, BTW. I like Jenson, and expect him to out-perform Vandoorne.
How will Vandoorne and the McLaren perform against the other rookies in the other backmarkers, tho?

You know what? Now that you mention it, I think the joke is actually about Honda. McLaren finished 5th in the WCC before they made the switch - and 3rd the year before.
